When dm drogerie, a leading drugstore chain, required a sophisticated racking system for their new distribution center at Prologis Park Prague, they turned to stow for an expert solution. Spanning over 21,000 square meters, the site now features a state-of-the-art storage system designed to optimize space, ensure safety, and enhance operational efficiency.
The Solution
stow engineered and installed a racking system with 14,000 pallet spaces to support dm drogerie’s extensive product range, including cleaning supplies, detergents, feminine hygiene products, paper goods, and baby items. Each pallet space is designed to support up to 800 kg, ensuring durability and reliability for heavy, high-turnover products.
To meet the site’s unique handling needs, retractors were incorporated for efficient loading and unloading, while the system is tailored to accommodate EUR pallets, frequently used by dm drogerie.
