With the latest project in Rumst, Belgium, that partnership entered a new phase: stow's sister company Movu Robotics installed a fully automated Movu atlas 4-way pallet shuttle system, reusing ODTH's existing stow racking for a more sustainable, cost-efficient result.
Introduction
For more than 25 years, stow has grown alongside ODTH, a family-owned Belgian 3PL provider serving FMCG clients around the clock. What began with classic pallet racking evolved into semi-automated stow Atlas® installations across dozens of ODTH warehouses, creating tens of thousands of pallet positions. That evolution led to a big project in 2025 in Willebroek, Belgium, where a semi-automated stow Atlas pallet shuttle system lifted storage capacity by 50%, cut rack and product damage to zero, and streamlined inbound and outbound flows across an 85,000 m² facility.
One partner, from racking to robotics
More recently, in September 2026, that same long-standing relationship took its next step in Rumst, Belgium, this time through stow’s sister company, Movu Robotics. Rather than starting from scratch, the project reused ODTH’s existing stow racking as the foundation for a fully automated Movu atlas 4-way pallet shuttle system. The result is a brownfield automation model that now supports over 31,000 pallet positions across 14,000 m², with capacity for up to 6,000 daily pallet movements, all while keeping ODTH’s warehouse running 24/7 throughout the phased rollout.

Together, the Rumst project shows what’s possible when racking and automation expertise come from the same partner: 20 autonomous Movu atlas shuttles, over 31,000 pallet positions across 14,000 m², and up to 6,000 daily pallet movements, all built on ODTH’s existing stow racking and rolled out in phases without interrupting day-to-day operations.
