Custom extra-deep racking installed for designer furniture at one of Sweden’s leading furniture design companies
stow is pleased to welcome Rowico Home as a new customer. We have been selected to supply the pallet racking for their new headquarters in Halmstad, Sweden.
Rowico Home was founded in 1971 and has grown into one of Sweden’s largest furniture design companies. The company is family-owned and is now run by the third generation. It has operated from its current office and warehouse since 1988. Rowico Home is now moving into a newly built 18,000 m² headquarters, and the warehouse is designed to support its next stage of growth.
The project includes 12,000 pallet locations. Furniture rarely comes on standard pallets, so the racking was designed together with Rowico Home to suit their goods. The system combines extra-deep racking with monopost and double frames. Beams are made to special lengths to fit Rowico Home’s non-standard pallet sizes, and the locations are fitted with mesh decking sized for the deeper racking.
“Working closely with the Rowico Home team from the start allowed us to design a system around their actual goods rather than standard dimensions. We look forward to seeing the project take shape from the beginning of next year,” says Andreas Bergstrand, Sales Manager, stow Nordics.
Installation begins in February 2027 and is expected to take four to five weeks.
