Outdoor pallet storage in galvanised racks
Galvanised pallet racking is made for outdoor use, resisting corrosion and weathering. But also suitable for harsh environments such as coolers, freezers, and storage of chemicals.
This heavy-duty racking system can support more than 3 tons per level depending on the dimensions. Our calculations take into account the snow and wind loads, depending on the region.
Thanks to the galva coating, the durability of these racks surpasses that of standard powder coating finishes.
Galvanisation
The most common form of galvanising is a Hot Dip Galvanisation. The unpainted pallet rack is cleaned to remove all oils and dirt. Then it is immersed in a bath of molten zinc at extremely high temperatures. When the pallet rack is taken out of the zinc, it reacts with the outside oxygen and carbon dioxide to create a surface that stops corrosion.
