About Chengdu Silverplow Low-temperature Logistics Co., Ltd.
Chengdu Silverplow Low-temperature Co., Ltd. was established in March 2009 with a registered capital of 300 million yuan in the Qingbaijiang district of Chengdu (Sichuan Province). With an investment of 2.5 billion yuan, the Chengdu Silverplow Cold-Chain Logistics Center for Agricultural Products is a major project of Chengdu Silverplow Low-temperature Logistics Co., Ltd.
The Logistics Center is located Qingbaijiang Bulk Cargo Logistics Park. The Department of the Sichuan Provincial Government Western Railway Logistics planned 520 acres of land for the construction of 300,000 tons cold storage capacity, 160 000 square meters distribution logistics center, 100,000 square meters integrated warehouse (cold and normal temperature) as well as railway lines and other facilities.
This will be the largest distribution center in the South-West for frozen poultry products, aquatic products, dry miscellaneous, non-staple food, fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products.
Project introduction
Chengdu Silverplow Cold-Chain Logistics Center for Agricultural Products consists of two low temperature of -20 ℃ cold storage divided over 7 floors. Each floor is about 5,000 square meters.
After repeated communication with the technical department, stow proposed the stow Atlas shuttle solution for the main part, the stow Drive-In solution near the building columns and stow Pallet Rack near the walls. Due to this combination of solutions the cold storage space utilization reached 80%, which greatly improved the storage capacity.
Our customer had the specific requirement that our shuttle needed to work 24h continuously in the -20 ℃ environment. After confirmation with our headquarters in Belgium, we were able to meet the requirement through proposing our second generation cold storage shuttle Atlas 2.1.
What our customers appreciated the most is that the battery is fully charged in less than 3 hours due to the utilization of the newest battery technology, and can be used continuously for 8h in cold storage environment. This improved the storage efficiency.
