Blue Star Logistics have been in the transport industry for over 20 years, they provide: supply chain, warehouse and distribution.
As part of their extensive 3PL service their new warehouse needed a storage solution that was flexible enough to meet future needs. The warehouse also required a product that satisfied the high quality and safety needs of their clients. These needs involved providing facilities for a major grocery retailer, transport and reverse logistics.
The installation option chosen was the stow Conventional Pallet Racking system. The high quality European design is flexible and engineered to hold up to 12 tonne per bay. This feature was modelled from utilising a 2600mm x 110mm x 50mm beam and frame dimension.
The installation was completed in February 2014. More than 10,000 pallets have been added to Blue Star’s storage warehouse since installation.
