The Specialiteitenbakkerij is specialized in manufacturing (private label) apple pies for Retail and Foodservice at home and abroad; refrigerated and frozen. The Specialiteitenbakkerij is located on the Medel business park in Tiel (The Netherlands). It has everything in house to produce apple pies and cakes that meet the highest quality standards. The pies are prepared with the utmost care and meet the strictest quality standards.
When they built the new factory, the Specialiteitenbakkerij needed a solution to optimize the storage capacity in their cold store. So they decided to team up with stow to build a pallet shuttle installation.
A deep lane racking system guaranteed the highest possible storage density. By eliminating the need for forklift trucks to enter the racking aisles, this automated system is more cost effective and time saving than a regular Drive-In installation.
The racking installation of 17 pallets deep and 4 levels high and can store up to 2,000 pallets.
