McCormick Foods are proud to announce the completion of their new office and warehouse facility located at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne, Australia.
The McCormick brand is the largest producer of herbs and spices in the world, as well as leading other product categories including mustards and curries, recipe bases, sauces and gravies, side dishes and deserts. McCormick also operate well-known brands in Australia such as Keen’s Curry and Keen’s Mustard and the Australian childhood favourite Aeroplane Jelly.
McCormick required a package of warehouse, storage and office interior fittings in their new facility. stow Australia was able to provide a full turn-key package of both racking and office space, making the build for McCormick an effortless process.
The vast warehouse of over 11,500 sq. meters was a substantial space to design a pallet racking system. In total stow installed over 10,000 pallet positions, with growth capacity for over 2,000 extra. The warehouse is equipped with a combination of Selective Racking and Pallet Flow with Full Upright Protectors and Site Labelling Beam Locations. The warehouse features a Bridge Bay three pallets wide, guaranteeing safe access for forklifts operating in the area.
Extra safety systems were installed such as signage for pallets and for directional use, industrial barriers and pedestrian railing throughout the warehouse. An ongoing maintenance agreement was arranged to ensure the site is consistently safe and fully functional for business well into the future.
