Noone Imagewear, a growing family owned Australian company, had a warehouse storage problem. The floorspace of their warehouse was full but they needed extra space for stock and for loading and unloading deliveries to service their growing school-wear and corporate uniform business.

stow provided a raised mezzanine floor solution that not only met their immediate needs but could also be extended and raised a 2nd level in the future.

Mezzanine garment storage

“We moved into our Derrimut warehouse a few years ago knowing that the racking and storage solution was going to be developed over several phases. The initial selective racking and long span shelving was installed by One Stop Shelving, (stow’s service and maintenance division).  We now needed to better utilize the height of our warehouse”, according to Mark Spero, Noone’s Operations Manager.

stow and one other company were asked to propose a solution and the main reason stow was selected is the potential future extendibility of their mezzanine floor.

Long span shelving

The new 450 m² raised mezzanine floor and staircase supports Noone’s hanging garment speed rail system and 275 shelf positions have been created for storing stock under the floor in 2865 mm height frames.

Mark said “We were very happy with the entire team from stow. Their solution has increased our warehouse efficiency today and we are confident that we can easily support future growth. In the next couple of years, the plan is to extend the mezzanine floor to cover a substantial portion of the 2,500 m² warehouse and to add another level to utilize air-space”.
